Jyotirlingas are considered as one of the prime worship spots for the devotees of Lord Shiva. In Hindu Mythology, it is believed that Jyotirlinga means “The Radiant symbol of the Almighty”, so it is the resplendent flame of the almighty solidified to make the worship of it simple. There are a total of 64 Jyotirlingas that are well spread around the landscape of India. However, 12 Jyotirlingas are presumed to be very auspicious and highly revered among them.
These jyotirlingas are positioned in eight states i.e. Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. As per the Hindu mythologies, visiting Jyotirlingas is an important pilgrimage that wades off all the sins and makes the soul sacrosanct and pure. The devotees visiting these Jyotirlingas become chaste, pure and calm. After visiting these Jyotirlingas, devotees turn home with illuminated and enlightened with highest and divine knowledge. It is also believed that wishes are fulfilled after visiting and having Darshan of these sacred Jyotirlingas. Thus, these Jyotirlingas are visited by Lord Shiva’s devotees every year in huge numbers.

Day-to-day detailed itinerary
Day 01: Arrive at Mumbai Airport and transfer to hotel
One of the Karnali representatives will meet and great at the Mumbai Airport and arrange immediate transfer to hotel. A detailed briefing on immediate and further arrangements will be delivered in the evening before dinner. Overnight in a tourist standard hotel in Mumbai.
Day 02: Fly to Diu and drive to Somnath (81km)
We will fly to Diu as per our flight schedule and then immediate proceed to Somnath (81km). We will have Darshan of Aadi Jyotirling Shree Somnath Mahadev and attend for the Evening Aarti. Overnight in a tourist standard hotel in Somnath.
Day 03: Drive to Dwaraka (235km)
After having breakfast, we will drive to Dwaraka. We will stay overnight in a tourist standard hotel in Dwaraka.
Day 04: Explore major attractions of Dwaraka
After breakfast, we will have darshan of Nageshwar Jyotirling, Dwarakadish and other temples of Dwaraka. We will spend overnight in a tourist standard hotel at Dwaraka.
Day 05: Drive to Jamnagar and fly to Mumbai
After having early breakfast in the morning, we will drive to Jamnagar (130km) and fly to Mumbai. We will spend overnight in a tourist standard hotel in Mumbai.
Day 06: Fly to Indore and darshan of Omkareshwar
After breakfast, we will fly to Indore and drive to hotel. After being freshened up, we will drive to Omkareshwar (78km) of the darshan of Omkareshwar Jyotirling. We will return to Indore after darshan for the night haul.
Day 07: Drive to Ujjain for the darshan of Mahakaleshwar Jyotirling and fly to Pune.
After breakfast, we will drive to Ujjain (57km) for the darshan of Mahakaleshwar Jyotirling. After darshan, we will board on a flight to Pune where we will spend overnight in a tourist standard hotel.
Day 08: Darshan of Bhimashankar and drive to Nashik
We will depart to Bhimashankar (110km) for the darshan of Bhimashankar Jyotirling. After having darshan, we will drive to Nashik (205km), where will spend overnight in a hotel.
Day 09: Darshan of Triamabekshwar and drive to Shirdi
We will drive (182km) to Triambekshwar after breakfast for the darshan of Triamabekshwar Jyotirling. After darshan, we will drive to Shirdi (126km) where we will spend overnight in a hotel.
Day 10: Darshan of Shirdi Sai Baba and drive to Aurangabad (170km)
We will have the darshan of Shirdi Sai Baba before the breakfast and then we will proceed to Aurangabad (170km) where we will have darshan of Grishneshwar Jyotirling. We will board on an evening flight to Hyderbad where we will spend night in a hotel.
Day 11: Drive to Srisailam and have darshan of Sri Malika Arjuna Jyotirling
After breakfast, we will have an early start to Srisailam (217km). After darshan of Sri Malika Arjuna Jyotirling, we will return to hotel.
Day 12: Drive to Hyderbad and fly to Madurai
We will drive to Hyderbad Airport for the flight to Madurai. We will ease at the leisure at the hotel or explore the best of Madurai after being freshened up.
Day 13: Visit Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple and have darshan of Ramanathaswamy
Before the breakfast, we will visit the Meenakshi Amman Temple (A UNESCO World Heritage Site) and we will drive to Rameswaram (192km) for the darshan of Ramanathaswamy. We will return to Madurai after visiting the Ramanathaswamy.
Day 14: Fly to Chennai and drive to Kanchipuram
After breakfast, we will fly to Chennai and drive to Kanchipuram. After settling in the hotel and being freshened up, we will visit the Ekambareshwar Temple (A UNESCO World Heritage Site), Kailasanatha Temple and Kamakshi Amman Temple.
Day 15: Darshan of Tirupathi Balajee
We will drive to Tirupathi (133km) for the darshan of Tirupathi Balajee. After having darshan of of Tirupathi Balajee, we will drive back to Chennai, where we will spend overnight in a hotel.
Day 16: Fly to Bhubaneshwar and drive to Puri
After breakfast, we will fly to Bhubaneshwar and drive to Puri, en-route we will visit Konarak Sun Temple. We will attend the evening Aarthi darshan of Puri Jaganath.
Day 17: Drive to Bhubaneshwar- Darshan of Lingaraj and fly to Kolkata
We will drive to Bhubaneshwar and then fly to Kolkata after having darshan of Lingaraj. We will spend overnight in a hotel in Kolkata.
Day 18: A day trip to Ganga Sagar
After breakfast, we will drive to Ganga Sagar (109km) where we will take holy dip and perform rituals. We will spend overnight in a hotel in Kolkata.
Day 19: Darshan of Kali Ghat and Ramakrishna Math and take a train journey to Jasidih
In the morning, we will visit Kali Ghat and Ramakrishna Math. And then, we will board on a train to Jasidih where we will spend overnight in a hotel.
Day 20: Darshan of Baidhyanath Jyotirling and take a train journey to Kolkata
We will have darshan of Baidhyanath Jyotirling and then we will board on a train to Kolkata. Either we will ease at the leisure in the hotel or do shopping in Kolkata.
Day 21: Fly to Varanashi and explore its major attractions
We will fly to Varanashi Airport and drive to hotel. After settling in the hotel and being freshened up, we will have darshan of Kasi Vishwanath and Annapurna Devi. In the evening, we will attend and experience the beauty of Grand Ganga Aarthi. We will spend overnight in a hotel at Varanashi.
Day 22: Drive to airport and fly to Delhi 0r any other suggested destinations
We will drive to airport and fly to Delhi. Free time for packing and shopping.
Day 23: Trip concludes and depart for your onward journey
